Construction Defects
Construction Defects
Suits Law Firm is familiar with construction defect claims and litigation. In the recent past, a majority of our litigation cases involved construction defect disputes. Our attorney and staff are knowledgeable regarding Arizona statutory requirements. Builders and developers often claim that the warranty for structural elements of a building last for one or two years. Arizona’s “Purchaser Dwelling Act” provides for up to eight (8) years time for a property owner to identify any defects and notify the builder and demand that appropriate repairs be made. The Act provides the if the developer or builder fails or refuses the opportunity to make required repairs, than a timely claimant may file a lawsuit seeking redress.
Suits Law Firm represents Homeowners and/or Contractors in all aspects of statutory and non-statutory construction defect claims, including pre-litigation demands under Arizona's "Purchaser Dwelling Act", and all aspects of mediation, arbitration and/or civil trial litigation. As a homeowner understanding your rights and construction defect statutes is imperative in protecting the value of your investment. We will help you understand your rights as well as the obligations and responsibilities of your developer or builder. We will assist you in resolving your claims through mediation, arbitration and/or litigation.
